Garrett has a diverse legal background that has evolved to better serve the needs of his clients.  Prior to his current focus on probate law, Garrett practiced family law, where he gained valuable insights into the complexities of family-related legal matters.  Before family law, Garrett spent years working on internal investigations and legal discovery for matters involving large commercial and non-profit organizations, specifically in preparation for trial or arbitration.

Hailing from Everett, Washington, Garrett has deep roots in Washington State.  He earned his law degree from Seattle University School of Law in 2014 and holds undergraduate and graduate degrees from Gonzaga University and the University of Washington, respectively.  Outside the office, Garrett enjoys running in the forest, gardening, trying new places to eat, reading thought-provoking books and writing.
